N Rosewood - ?

I got some wood blanks through IAP and a few pieces marked "N Rosewood". I'm pretty certain it's not an H, which would stand for Honduras. But it looks like Honduras to me.

There are no Rosewoods starting with N.

A little help?

There is Dalbergia nigra, which is Brazilian Rosewood. But this doesn't look like at all like Brazilian which is dark red.

I didn't see the bottom ones. That is an N. Probably Nicaraguan as Drewby mentioned

Thanks! I looked at the wood database website and couldn't find anything. Nicaraguan is it I'm sure. Penmaking is learning me some geography

In the same vane as FOG wood, maybe it means Nice Rosewood! - such that it is. - Dave

It's also known as yucatan rosewood in some circles. The wood database has it listed under that name.
