Really, I'm guessing he didn't do any multi-axis turnings. The clamps made my toes hurt at the thought of the Jet falling!

Looks like my little JET, used only about 20 years.

Mine is currently sitting in the floor of the shop with a slightly newer version with an EVS control that is bolted to a 2x4 table with a box of rocks on the bottom for weight/stability.

The stand looks a lot like the one that came with my very first lathe that came from Home Depot... with the folded metal legs.
