Anyone purchased pen blanks from these people? I have been looking around for pen blank suppliers other than the standard pen kit suppliers. Looking for some more variety in woods. I came across Ocooch. They don't have the selection of someone like Cook Woods but their prices are low. Wondering if that is due to cracked and warped blanks or if it is just a good deal.

If prices are so much lower you can always place a small order to see the quality of their products. That way you don't have much to lose.

I've been getting wood from Ocooch for several years, always been good quality. Very good prices on the wood they carry. I'm sure they are cut offs from the lumber that they have, which has always been good. I get a lot of different boards for my scrollsaw art. In fact glad I saw this thread...I'm getting low and need to order.

Here is whats left ov my last pen blank order.

I bought about 100 pen blanks from them last year. They all came very well package with the wood name on each package. All were pristine. I also got some boards from them as well. Again, very well packaged and pristine. I was missing one board, texted them and got a replacement within a week. Excellent product, good prices and great service.
