Shaving Razors

This may be a dumb question but...I've worn a beard and mustache for probably 40 years so I don't know.

I'm going to start adding things other than pens to my future shows. From the show pictures I see on here, most all of you offer razors, bottle stoppers, salt & pepper mills, and some other stuff. I'll start with razors.

I see three different types of razor head...Mach 3, safety (I used these years ago lol), and Fusion. Which one do I need to have, or at least first.
Do you always sell with a stand? Which stand is more popular...vertical hanging or the one it leans on the upright?
Whats a better seller...wood or acrylic blanks? If wood what finish best seals out the water...CA or something else?
What about the whole brush thing? I assume stand, with or without a "decor cup"? Any other brush info, do people use them any more?

And anything else you can pass on about doing these, please.
This might be another rabbit hole to go down...lol. But I think having items other than just pens will increase my overall sales.

We show 20 or more razors and razor sets. We show two of those in double edged razors and the rest are Mach 3. In my travel bag I have one each of gunmetal and chrome Fusion heads. If a customer requires Fusion, I swap out the head in about a minute. I can also trade a double edged head with a Mach 3 if a customer wants a particular blank/head combo. Again, it about a minute. I polish everything with a cloth and make the sale.

Awesome! In doing some research I notice there to be three different styles. Most are PSI. Berea looks to have a little different head and end caps. And Craft Supplies uses a threaded rod instead of pressing ends into the blank. This leads me to some questions.

I like the "hanging" type stand vs the "leaning" type....does one type work better than others in that type of stand?

Where do you get yours? And have you tried others to find the best selling/easiest to make?

Do all three head types interchange with different suppliers, in other words are the threads the same from what you use?

How many should I show...razor, razor and matching stand, razorwith matching brush and stand?

Selling prices will vary...but what would you advise to start with for each of the three mentioned?

I would suggest staying with CSUSA. Their razor and stand use a threaded rod and do not press in. That is HUGE to me. I do not like PSI stand even a tiny bit. Cheap. I also like the brush but please drill a recess for it with a forschner bit. It hides any tilt to the threaded brush. You look better.

Cool! I've already got some nice wood, and I like Molten Metal. I can see this as going down another rabbit hole...LOL.
