These are the last of the sample pack. One is antler, a first for me, the other is dyed maple burl. I wasn't sure about the copper one, but I went on a design site and they stated browns and blacks go well with copper.

I have found copper difficult to get a timber to sit well with, now I know....browns and blacks.
Your dyed maple really suits the copper well.
Your antlerhas a very clean finish to it and looks good.
What does the design site say suits pale colours?

Nice! I guess the design site was correct. That dyed maple burl looks great on the copper.
Antler on a deer hunter pen... can't make a much better match than that.

The copper looks phenomenal! I think you paired a blank that is just about perfect. I think the color of the wood, and the color of the aging on the copper, go very well together. The pewter and antler go extremely well together as well.

I've been experimenting with some copper kits (nothing as fancy as this though!) I have found that either a matching copper-colored blank (and there are some acrylic/poly blanks that often match copper kits really well, and maybe there are some fiber weave blanks that might work), black, or the darker woods go pretty well. I don't think I've actually tried anything legitimately "Brown" yet...should do that though.
