Promise no more but I made this to show possibilities with this kit. Also used a 9.5 mm drill this gave a much better fit on the tube for turning than the recommended 9.7 mm.
Promise I will move on and not bore you with more Rossetti Pens. But they are a kit with lots of possibilities and good for using up small pieces of wood.
Hope you've liked them please comment

Thanks for showing, Michael !!

I think this pen is the nicest Rosetti you have made/shown so far !!
I like the different length sections .... and the contrasting colors of sections.

Keep up the good work !!! . . And don't be afraid to show more Rosettis !!! . . :D :D :D

Beautiful pens Michael. Perhaps another possible variation would be to have one section with some segmentation like chevrons, and the next segment solid wood...

Great suggestion David maybe a Chevron would be beyond me but something simple maybe. Need to consider that the wood is not glued to the tube until after finishing so you are dealing with very thin wooden tubes to assemble with the Chrome rings onto the tube. So a good challenge.

I agree with David, that the kit would lend itself to some segmenting.
Chevrons are easy, just ask Mark James!

Alan
Alan because of the way this pen is made I can't see how any level of segmenting would work. You don't have a solid blank but small sections not glued to a tube and with a very thin wall thickness
You glue prior to assembly.
