Are we talking about and comparing the Full-size Imperial and the Full-size Lotus ?

The data I have for those shows that the tubes and bushings have the SAME DIAMETERS.

FWIW However, the LENGTHS of the tubes are DIFFERENT.

Here's the full data if you need it:

LOTUS
Lotus Upper Barrel
Brass tube drill size = 35/64"
Brass tube O.D. = 0.539"
Brass tube length = 1.65"
Bushing O.D. (both) = 0.616"
Lotus Lower Barrel
Brass tube drill size = 15/32"
Brass tube O.D. = 0.450"
Brass tube length = 1.74"
Bushing O.D. (both) = 0.552"

IMPERIAL
Imperial Upper Barrel
Brass tube drill size = 35/64"
Brass tube O.D. = 0.539"
Brass tube length = 1.90"
Bushing O.D. (both) = 0.616"
Imperial Lower Barrel
Brass tube drill size = 15/32"
Brass tube O.D. = 0.450"

thank you. I had a print out from CSUSA that showed different bushing sizes than what I saw on other documents. I didn't want to make a costly mistake.
 
If you have the kit, you can avoid mistakes by measuring the COMPONENT that will mate with the end of your blank.
Bushings are a guide, but the goal in turning the pen is to match the size of the metal piece that will mate with your blank.
Measure that piece with a caliper and there will be no mistakes!
This method is fool-proof, information you measure yourself is by far the best information you will find!!!!
When dealing with very high-end kits, perfection is a reasonable goal!!
