My pics don't do it justice. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
Hexadecagon, yes i had to look that up. On tube blank was tapered and faceted then mica was applied, black trim rings added and then clear cast.

That is really nice. The visual depth is wonderful - facets, mica, clear cast - well done.

Mark, I have found the depth effect to be a big plus of doing it this way. I think it has to do with the reflection off of the mica and the surface working together.That is really nice. The visual depth is wonderful - facets, mica, clear cast - well done.

You are correct. I just noticed the mistake myself. It is a Dayacom mirage kit.

The Mirage may have been discontinued. I had to purchase some from a member here.

This would be very hard to do on a wood lathe. Although there are people here that could I'm sure.
The talent out there in the IAP as no bounds they could make anything with nothing bless them all a great bunch of people.
