Cookbook stand

A recent customer asked for this cookbook stand in black walnut. I think I'll make more and add this item to my product line.

Excellent! When you market it, add that it is also a tablet/ipad stand. Most of the time when my wife and I look up recipes, we go to the internet and have the tablet on the kitchen counter. This would be nice to see it easier with a different footprint.

Maybe make one with the back adjustable so that the viewing angle is easier for some people to see.

I like the design. Not only does it let you set the stand according to book thickness, the two pieces separate for easy, nearly flat storage. Nice!

Mark, that is really nice, I like it. This might not be a good idea, but how do you think it would look if you made the two pieces out of different species, like walnut and maple?

Could work. I sold another all walnut one right after I finished with the first one.
