This is a Moon pen in black from PSI. The wood is unknown, but may be bubinga. The finish is Pens Plus. Some interesting grain patterns.

Just wondering what you thought of the quality of this pen? I have an idea in my head to use this. Have not purchased yet, but might fit what I'm looking for. Thanks.

This is the second one I've made. One thing I thought was odd is the twist mechanism is plastic. Otherwise I think it's typical PSI quality.

By the way, the blue is awesome. Reminds me of Apollo 11 photos looking back at earth. The wood....not so much.

The blue blank is called Moon Sugar, and is from Exotic Blanks. Messy, but turns easily and polishes nicely. I recently made another pen out of one.

If it looks like Easter basket grass...you've got good sharp tools. Nice job!
