Regarding the MPG on Sat Apr24 and Sun Apr25

Just wondering what to do next, if anything.
I registered, got my confirmation email.

The sessions start Saturday morning. . The first session I will probably "attend" is at 1:00 pm EDT ( 10:00 am PDT).

What do I have to do in preparation for attending, if anything ?
And then, what do I have to do at the time I want to start watching and listening ?

Thanks for registering. It is very easy. In the confirmation email there was a link called "enter event". Click on it. If it asks you to login it kas the name and password you registered with. Once in , click on the sessions link on the main page or on the left navigation bar. The click on "join the studio" for the event you want. It is very easy.

There are sessions at 8 am CST to test your video and speakers. If you are coming later just go in any session to test them. If you you can watch YouTube they will work. That's it.

Any issues use the contact us page on the event. We will be monitoring that. Finally just have fun.

"See" you there.

It is located in the upper left area of the event page. It was not on the confirmation purchase email. FYI

It is toward the bottom of the welcome email that included the ticket as an attachment. It is under the Virtual section (screen shot below with arrow showing link) and took me a few minutes to find through the emails. Once you click that link, you will be taken to a web page and you will need to login at the top. Beyond that I am not sure. I assume once things open, links will start activating to view.

Is it possible for someone to explain which ones are the live sessions vs. recorded sessions that I can view later? I see that there seem to be a few categories...main stage, breakout sessions, workshops. Am I right to assume that workshops are recorded and the main stage and breakout sessions are live sessions?

Just the opposite. You will be able to rewatch all of the demos. The workshops are not recorded and are rooms to gather live - to talk and for Q&A. The "live"sessions will say "live" in the description. I hope this helps, See you there!

We had a massive power outage overnight. . . Power came back on at 11:30 a. m. EDT

I am just getting to the point where I can try "joining" the " Event " ........ . It is now 11:40 a.m. EDT ... so I missed everything so far.

THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLIED TO THIS THREAD !! . :) :) :) :)

After the very small hiccup this morning, the event seems to be going very smoothly. Extraordinary organization and outstanding content. Watching @mg_dreyer session on penturning with carbide tools right now, and looking forward to lots more this afternoon.

Sorry - if the event says "Live" in the title - then it is not recorded. All breakout sessions are recorded. The workshops are not.

At the beginning, should have had explanation of what a "Breakout Session" is.
Jargon that I am not familiar with.
Sounded to me like a secondary session that is supplementary to the main session ... but in fact IT IS THE MAIN part. ... Confusing to me.

Overall, today's topics and sessions were very good.
Audio quality was somewhat poor and some speakers talked rather too quickly , IMHO.
