My fist attempt at a Fountain Pen. The wood is Olive the kit a Kappa. Probably not the best kit to start with. The instructions coverd 3 pen types and not the easiest to follow to many bits and pieces for me. Also struggled with grain match. But its a fountain pen and my first.
I would much appreciate you comments please.

you did a really good job the wood looks amazing. all kits are easy once you figure out which part goes where and dont be stressed about the grain matching its hard to match when the pen has 2 threads you need to match is to and it still looks good. you could be a bit close to the bushings.

I have a little trick I use to align the grain. When you are assembling it, screw the nib into its cap housing then push together by hand. After that you can press it home in whatever method you chose.

Its a UK site Taylor Mirfield going to be a bit expensive to ship to the US it cost me £20. But you can convert into a Rollerball pen all in the kit.
Hope this helps.

Sorry Guy I'm an old fashioned fellow don't do social media know nothing about Instagram. I am probably missing out on things but I've reached 76 without it.
