Someone advised me to get to know my mini-lathe by using it. I chose to turn a few slim lines as practice. I will have more question soon...

Awesome work!

I have a small metal lathe sitting on the back side of my work bench, I'm preparing to clean it up & rebuild it...

In addition... I got a bunch of slimlines for Christmas, and each time I consider turning one, I grab something fatter, I just don't like turning them on the wood lathe.

This post gives me a reason the get the metal lathe done faster!

Dangit, I don't know where my brain has been lately, you said mini lathe, and I went right to metal lathe, where is my head?

Mike, you are doing OK. The TITLE of the thread includes "Metal Lathe". Later in the post "Mini" is used. my expectation is that the OP is talking about a mini-metal lathe.
