Pen Tubes and bushing charts and apps.

Greetings,

The pen bushings and tube charts and apps are close to being finalized. Some new suppliers and the original suppliers also. About 25 total.

I'd like to think these will be available by year end 2020.

I do have another 15 or so suppliers that I'm currently trying to compile data for.

Many of the new ones are from UK, Germany, Australia, France, Canada, Belgium, China, USA.
These are more difficult to get data from. Not many suppliers are helpful with my requests.

If anyone has data for other suppliers, I'd greatly appreciate your help. Kit names, tubing and bushing numbers, dimensions of tubes and bushings, and instruction files.

Use the Excel form from Sept. 2019 if you can help.

Does this mean the new version will include instructions for each kit? If so, are you just going to include the manufacturer's PDF or will you reformat and include them within the app? That sound like a big load of work away from the lathe, but it would allow you to fix the biggest problem I find with most instructions. WHY do they put the assembly diagram on one side with the turning instructions, and then the assembly instructions on the OTHER side with turning diagram??? I'm constantly scrolling back & forth trying to match diagram and instructions in my simple mind ...

I've actually contemplated cutting & pasting onto an index card so drawing & text are together on the same side, but there's not enough hours in my day already ...

No I will not reformat them in any way. Suppliers may have a problem with that. That would also take a life time. I have created some for suppliers, based on their formatting though.
Suppliers have their own ideas on formatting instructions and assume paper is fine and either include or have you print the instructions.

No worries--if it's too much work for me I certainly can't expect someone else to do it. I do get tired of constantly flipping the instruction sheets over, but maybe once I've done a few hundred I won't need the instructions ...

As you may already know, I've released 26 updated or new pen supplier charts. Released 1-1-2021.
One supplier hasn't been revised.

More to come, but getting harder to get the data from other suppliers

We are behind on updating the Apple and Android apps due to some server and directory issues. The code requires some major revisions.

We'll let you know as we release these.
