This is a Kaleidoscope necklace in chrome from PSI. The wood is a chunk of padauk that I got from the cut off bin at Rockler. Fun little project, but it was a pain to assemble. It turned out fine in the end though.

The kit is supposed to come with a special tape strip to arrange the mirrors in a prism shape, but it was missing. So I tried scotch tape, but that didn't work out. I found, though, that I could arrange the mirrors correctly in the body without tape.

I set the engraver on 20% this time, and it was just about perfect.

Very Cool - I've been looking at those kits from PSI, but haven't taken the plunge yet. - Dave
It's a cool little kit, other than the mirror issue. You can set them up two ways, either as a kaleidoscope with the internal "crystals", or as a "teleidoscope", which creates images based on wherever you point it. Haven't tried the second way.
