This is my third Spider pen from PSI, also in chrome. My sister and friend Olga both wanted Spider pens with the Flaming Forge blank. I only had half a blank left, so I ordered two more from Bear Tooth Woods. I have to say, it's the perfect blank for this pen. I really do like this kit.

Really nice work, Jim !!! . Gonna hafta get some of those Flaming Forge blanks that you like so much !!! 😀

Thanks for showing !!!!

Jim, it surely is a nice looking pen, but sadly for me, I'd never be able to use it myself. The lower portion of the kit has a ridge on it, and because of how I hold pens, it would be uncomfortable to use. I always have a firm grip on my pens when using one, and the way the nib is shaped, is pressed into the side of my finger.

Definitely like the flaming spider! Is the pen about the size of a cigar pen? It looks big.
It's similar. The Spider pen upper section is 0.57", not including the clip and spider. The nib is 0.53", and it's 5-5/8" long. The weight is 57g. The Cigar center band is 0.57", not including the clip. The nib is 0.45", and it's 5-1/2" long. It's 0.47" at the clip. The weight is 54g.

I'm sorry to hear that. You could always make one as a gift. Or two or three.
