I have really been swamped making "cedar" plugs for sale. That is a good thing, once completed, as it allowed me to splurge on an acoustic bass guitar.

It was worth the effort!

Mark: Plugs use for trolling when fishing for tuna ,yellow tail?? Very nice guitar.

They catch both yellowfin and bluefin tuna, yellowtail and most other saltwater gamefish when trolled behind a boat. They have been used since ancient Egyptian times successfully. Mine are rarely cedar.

Thanks. So far it is very fun to play without an amp; it sounds great. Tomorrow it will get plugged in.

I did the same! Well, pens give me the little extra to pay my bass off each month 😁 I was looking for a used bass and found a great deal, so I couldn't wait until I actually had the money. Good thing Guitar Center was having a 0% financing special!

Nice work! Awesome looking Bass! Love that wood! Not to throw your thread off topic, but I bought me a Tayor 6 string last year. Koa wood.

Beautiful plugs.....even Beautifulier Bass. Sure wish I could hear it! :)

I played it out of the box yesterday acoustically and was impressed and today through my amp with tunes mixed in. It has a HUGE sound with the best ringing open E ever. Color me ready to play "unplugged" with a band. There are tunes that scream for the sound of this bass.

It is light as a feather compared to my '76 Fender P bass but thick. Love it

Oddly, it also has a great fretted F on the E string, who knew. Color me ready to play "unplugged" with a band. There are tunes that scream for the sound of this bass.

My last acoustic bass was also a Michael Kelly, that one had a quilted body with a similar neck. In the photo I am playing with the band Jack's Bad Monkey and Mahé in Seal Beach. Fun times.

I was a teacher and my look says it might have been when a student's parents were dancing with abandon to one of our songs. The kid was mortified! Love it.
