Happy Weekend Everyone,

A new pen I finished today. Using Nanako-nuri Technique.I spread seeds on a fresh layer of yellow Urushi. After curing, the seeds are removed and layers of black Urushi are added. The pen is sanded till the pattern is revealed.
I used Nashiji, an amber Urushi that is usually used to cover metal powder to create a colouring variation.
This is a prototype that of course I will keep for myself :).

Enjoy your Saturday,
Teo

VERY nicely done, Teodor !!!

I really like what you are doing and finding words inadequate to express the pleasure I get from seeing your pens with urushi !!

Teodor - I greatly admire seeing your progress with your finishes. Considering your First Urushi Pen was a few weeks short of 12 months ago, you have made fantastic progress.

Thanks for sharing, and be well.
