Vertex Bolt Action Tectonic Seas

I like Vertex pens and I like bolt action pens, so these were a natural for me. These are Vertex Bolt Action pens from PSI, one in gun metal and one in chrome. The blank is an Alumilite called Tectonic Seas and is from Exotic. One blank was long enough for both pens. I think the blank is stunning. It reminds me of storms over the ocean. I'm well pleased with these.

The blank turned easily and polished well, as Alumilite does. But boy was it messy!

I just saw them on PSI's website about a month ago. I don't know how new they are, but I like them.

Was this the blank questioned about the color earlier in the week? Were you satisfied once turned? Often hard to tell what a finished blank will look like from the raw piece.

Nice! I'm thinking that blank would look good on a Nautical pen.
