Bock #5. You can get them here, be sure to get the kit compatible nibs with feed and housing. You can get the nib alone also, but you have less choice I guess.

For very reasonable nibs try fountain pen revolution very inexpensive (under $5), and in a nice variety, from flex to stub. They don't have the cachet of Jowo or Boch, but they beat the price and can be tuned just as easily.

Thank you very much. is there a tuning kit that you like? Other than very fine sandpaper, I don't do any tuning.

I use this kit (LINK to Indy-Pen-Dance), it's the one that Richard Binder issues to those who take his nib smoothing workshop. He also strongly recommends a particular loupe - the Belomar 10X triplet - for its high optical quality and reasonable price. LINK to Belomar online store (you can also get it through Amazon.)

Richard's smoothing workshop is excellent - if you plan on attending a pen show, it's worth looking to see if he'll be there, and sign up ASAP for the workshop. Even if you don't get one of the limited spaces participating in the class, he usually allows quite a few to "stand behind" and watch without the hands-on training.

Thank you. I have these "supplies" bookmark. That (the loupe) is one of the 3 that I own. Thanks!
