I just stared turning this year. So I decided to make everyone that I am giving a gift to an ornament. Here are the 20 ornaments that I have made. This was a fun process of making some different shapes. Now I just have to figure out who gets what. Let me know what you think and if you have a favorite. If you want to see a close up of one of them, just say something. I have close ups, I just didn't want to post 20 pics.

Angela, Those look wonderful! Each is excellent, but in no surprise I'm drawn to the segmented ones; very, very nice. 👍

I suspect your are familiar with Dick Sing's books. If not, they are excellent resources. I am just getting ready after reading them for the past 4 years to work through his projects.

The ornaments are excellent, and I believe will lead into more areas for your turning.

Very nice!!
What components are you using?

Thanks. I am using the ornament kits from turners warehouse.

Thanks. I also like the segmented ones. Which is funny because I only made them out of necessity. Some of the bottle stopper blanks I got weren't quite long enough to get two ornaments. So, i
Just added a piece of acrylic.

I am not familiar with Dick Sing's books. I will have to look them up.

Angela, your ornaments are amazing. You obviously have a lot of creativity with the various shapes and profiles, in addition to great turning skills. I think you should torture your recipients by making them pick their favorite, as I think everyone would have about a dozen favorites they would want :)
