Beautiful pen is that a self-made blank or a purchased blank and if purchased from where and what is the name please.

John,
Your question is probably directed to Kyle, the person who made the pen and started this thread.

But, perhaps I can be excused for answering since I just did a successful search for the blank.

I found it for sale at ExoticBlanks.com:

https://www.exoticblanks.com/Lava-Explosion-Pen-Blanks-10-Sea-Flows.html

and it may also be available at other sources, one of which is BearToothWoods.com

I believe it is made by Eugene Soto of Texas, who makes a large variety of very attractive pen blanks in Alumilite.

Eugene has a website called MuttBlanks.com and you will find this blank there as Lava Explosion #10. It would seem that vendors can give different names.
