Where someone did 3 or 4 of the exact same blanks & left one plain brass on the tube, and the others were different paints so you could see the difference it made?

I know I saw it but I can't find it now.
Does anyone recall this thread or have a link to it?

Thanks for any help.

There are many examples sprinkled throughout the forums of this. I know I also have a couple out there somewhere too. If the OP has a specific thing he is looking for maybe we better can narrow it down. :):)

Thanks for the replies so far. What I was looking for is that someone took 3 or 4 identical blanks & took pics of them side by side.
First was no tubes, with a back light to show the transparency.
Then it was with the brass tubes inside but not glued in.
Same light in background.
Then, they painted the tubes different colors, like white, black, and the color of the blank itself, and maybe silver. One tube was left the original brass.

The last pic showed the difference between the paint colors & the plain brass tube.
Maybe this will jog someone's memory?

I found it if anyone can help me figure out how to post the link

With my Mac, and I believe Windows works the same, I left click on the bar on top to get the www stuff to highlight. Then right click it and select Copy. In the reply box you put the curser where you want. Right click and select Paste. There it is like magic.

Beat me to it.
