Nearly every year I produce a special item for our management team and others who have contributed to keeping the IAP running smoothly. We've had coffee mugs, soup bowls, and pint glasses. This year we have an unhandled pint mug, which was probably intended by the potters for holding beer, but I have found it works works for iced tea, apple cider, and milk, too! This is the same type of item as our mugs -- glazed stoneware, this one is brick red. These are numbered, 1-12, and I've set aside #10 for this auction.

There are only three ways to get one of the managers gifts: be an active member of the IAP management team, as a gift from me for some special act of service to IAP, or by winning the yearly auction we have for the managers item.

I'll also include a pound of (your choice - milk or dark) chocolates from my favorite Cleveland chocolatier: Malley's Chocolate

Chris certainly didn't waste any time coming in at $75.00, Thanks Chris! David M shows up in this one as well and wants a cup with no handle on it. Adam, a little low on this one, refresh and come in a little higher. Do I hear a $125.00 bid out there?

I'm out for the night guys. I'll be with you early in the morning, after that I have to leave to take my wife to a followup doctors appointment tomorrow afternoon. I'll see you all when I get back in from that, about 6pm CT or so.

In case the chocolate isn't sweet enough, here's another sweetener:

In last year's manager's gift auction I included a hat, and posted the following:
We have not sold hats for several years. This is one of just two left. We'll probably have hats again someday, but if you want one of the originals, here it is.

This is the other one of those two. This is THE LAST HAT from the original production of 250 hats.

Seems that Gimpy needs a new hat at $120.00, Thanks Terry!! There's bound to be someone else out there that needs a new cover while they're eating chocolate and drinking some Iced Tea for at least $140.00!

Couple of fun little facts:

Milk Chocolate: A smooth balance of sweet and rich makes these chocolates a perfect match for spicy bourbons.

Dark Chocolate: With the greatest depth of flavors, but also a touch of bitterness, these chocolates provide a counterpoint for sweet, full-bodied bourbons.

Now with those there, who wants to up it to $160.00 for a fine Bourbon mug and some fine Milk or Dark Chocolate?

Good morning all. Even though Michelle is trying a new tactic, JessePens still has the high bid of $140.00. Time is running out on these wonderful items. Now, let me see some of that $160.00 action.
