A 2-tone piece of Australian Ebony (Dyospyros humilis) on a Stainless steel Eagle Rollerball. It has a CA finish.
First 3 photos are taken under my diffused LED lights, the last one is taken using natural light, in the shade beside my house.

Thanks Peter.
The natural light can work at times, can be hard to control those reflections though. I used a piece of cardboard to make the white stripe a bit narrower than it wanted to be, you might be able to see it's reflection on the bottom edge of the white stripe. The white stripe is the sky between my house roof and the tree line behind me.

Thanks for looking and commenting, Phillip and Bobby.

"Ironically" ti resembles the exact color of Texas Ebony, in USA. I wonder if anyone form Australia brought that here. I doubt that birds can fly this far to bring the seeds.
Very nice job.
Maybe it's a related species. Our Ebony only grows into a fairly small tree, and the black part is ussually small and confined to the centre and it cracks badly while drying. It's not commonly available to buy, most people in Australia wouldn't know that we have an Ebony that grows here.

Thanks gbrwn and TG.

The components were made by Lazerlinez. Yes they do make it as a fountain pen as well.
I made one, but I have never been able to find an ink converter that fits it properly.
