My first pen ever!

This is the first pen I ever made, just a few weeks ago. It was a "see if I can do it" sort of project. Now I find myself with the "what if I tried...." with these. There are some great pens on this site...beautiful work.

I'm looking forward to learning how to improve my skills. Thanks for the help I've already gotten just looking around.

Yep... that's how it starts! First one, then another, then you have 500 kits and 2000 pen blanks and can't walk around your shop...

Very nice and a departure from the plain vanilla that we sometimes stick to in building.
Again what wood? Your finish brings out the grain very nicely.
