I'm really just showing off this amazing pen blank from Blanks by SweetCheeks. Part of a matching His and Hers set of Mickey and Minnie. The Mickey will be a Majestic Jr while this on is a Majestic Squire. Apologies, my cell phone pics don't do this blank justice. The casting was West Systems epoxy and is crystal clear. It also turns really really nicely. Sands and polished easily too. Great Job on the blank Michelle!!!

I know this has been asked a 1000 times, but here goes 1001. Any comments on the range of price for a pen like this one? Material cost are about $75 and labor was an hour or so. This is a hobby for me and most of my pens have gone out for gifts or charity auctions. I do have some interest in replicating this one for a few others and was looking for advice.

Thanks,

Danny

I don't have a clue how others price their work. Myself, when I have had to quote something........I start with costs X 2 as a bottom price.
I did do something special one time for a person and when I told them the price, they replied "Is that all?". It really is a combination of what you think it is worth and what the buyer values it at. Just remember, it is always easier to come down a little then to try and go up.

Thanks for the advice. 2 X cost would cover the replacement cost of blowing out an expensive blank.
