Finished up a Shakespeare fountain pen kit in a scale pattern, aluminum, padauk and walnut. Finish is Brushing Lacquer polished out with micro mesh.

I love what you are doing! This pen is excellent. A daunting pattern that while I understand its construction, I'm hesitant to try (too many other projects ahead in the queue).

Well done. (#479 on my to-do list).

Thanks for this tip. I have had a lot of trouble with metal segmented blanks blowing apart when gluing with CA.
