Christmas gifts for the family

PSI had a new kit come up this year. These are different than any other project I have done and required me to learn a few new things. I had never used a drill press for a project till now, I made and used a jam chuck, and a 71mm forstner bit.

All lids were turned using easywood tools, sanded to 600, 2 coats of sealer/DNA mix, and spray laquer.

WOW, you have been busy. Those are very nice gifts and the turning is great. I had to consult my PSI catalog before I knew what the soap dispensers were.

I turned one of JP's PR blanks into a piggy bank lid for my granddaughter. I still need to take a photo of it, but it turned really easily & looks great.

Thank you! It was one of those things that just popped out and said "make me". My next order will include some of the other items like the frogs, or maybe that LED light thingy.

They were a blast to turn. I even had some fun with the slo-mo camera on the phone while using the 71mm forstner.
