Just had my second bowl of Edgar's official IAP checks mix aptly made by Mark, reflecting on last night and Mark's official IAP chili and the official IAP bourbon cream candy. Thanks Mark for hosting a great party. Great food, good friends, and even Magic Bob (a shadow of his former self).

I wish we had made it before most of the other folks left, but it was very nice hanging out and chatting.

This is a busy time of the year, and at least a few of us were still chatting and we could at least welcome you and Kim. We appreciate your visit. AND, you are officially on the PM list for future meetings.

Have a nice holiday.

It was our pleasure. I told Nancy that she had better start on another batch of the Bourbon Chocolates as they take at least a day over 2 years to make her recipe...:wink::wink:. At least I can whip out the chili in a few hours.

It was a great time, and Phantom (one of our cats) misses Jeff already! :cat:

Thanks for your great hospitality, Mark. Leftovers of your chili and Joanne's salad were delicious (and now gone!) Nothing like a friendly cat to make me feel at home.

Great to see everyone and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Would love to make it, but I unfortunately will not be able too. Thanks guys.

I'll keep you on the PM list for future meetings.

Have a great holiday season Thad!

I got the invite, just had family stuff that was up in the air till last week, didn't know how to reply! I do have my sights set on that big shindig you guys are planning in the spring though.

Things seem to change fast for me. Since my last post, now I might be able to come.

LOL! No problem, this is a very relaxed potluck. Everyone on the fence can see what their obligations are at the last minute. Two cauldrons of Texas Red will be easy to serve and the rest will get eaten over the holidays.

This is a busy time of the year, so ANYONE who may want to partake at the last minute (OK, you also Derek...), it will be fine!

Cheers!

I may just surprise you one of these years!

Where are the pictures!!!

Sheesh, rough crowd! OK (just got back home) - here are a few shots of the gathering.

It reality, the weather was not good for long drives (rain on top of snow and ice) so a few folks played it safe. But we did have 14, and it was a nice time.

Just a reflection from me: As my time in IAP progresses, the pens become less and less important and the friendships become more and more important. A few decent pens are behind me, and a few are still to be turned, but I have friends near and far within this community, and that is something special.

First Pic: Bob Jackson and Magicbob
Second Pic: The Official IAP Trailmix (thanks Edgar)
Third Pic: My Wife's cat (Phantom) making sure Jeff does not float away into outer space...
Last Pic: Mike4066 (mike's wife Carrie) and Bob in NE Ohio

On a very positive note, we had 5 new members to an Ohio IAP Chapter meeting, so for that this simple potluck was a great success to welcome some new members.

It's good to see these familiar faces again. Even on the monitor. The cat latched onto Jeff for a cozy petting session. Trail mix looks inviting, and I love that 'Window of the World" Thanks Mark!

Next year we need a cardboard cut-out with Chuck, Ernie, Wayne and Derek as the four "Blankateers!" Do need a new dartboard...:eek::eek:!

Sorry I missed it, but I hate snow!! I'll have to plan on making the trek over the summer, when it's warm :) Look's like a good time was had by all. Was Robin the official IAP bartender?

See you guys in April at MPG

She got home from college while the last few of us were in the shop chatting. She did work on Sunday and made enough tips to get her cell phone fixed. I offered to pay, but she is wanting to pay for her own stuff now :hypnotized:.
