Spectraply Pen Blanks on Sale at Woodcraft

Woodcraft has recently started carrying Cousineau's Spectraply Pen Blanks.

A package of 20 will be on sale at Woodcraft for $9.99 from Sep 24 through Oct 21. This is the same price that a number of us paid when we ordered Spectraply pen blanks directly from Cousineau about a month ago.

Wished their sale would have started last weekend. I was just up at their shop last Saturday. This may be an excuse to go back up there. I bought the first box when the special was offered on here. Wouldn't mind buying a couple more boxes at that price.

Woodcraft also had larger 'hunks' of Spectraply (roughly 4x3x12), but it is just as spendy as getting it from Cousineau.

I don't care for pen blanks, but want to tinker with more spindle oriented work.

I've seen that too. I've been getting flyers from them fairly often -- usually they are for larger quantities than most individuals would be interested in.

I think the sale starts tomorrow. I saw in the sales flyer they sent out in the mail.

It's not on their web site - at least not yet. I got a Woodcraft sales flyer in Monday's mail.

I'd be surprised if they have a "store". North Anson is a "blink and you missed it" little town here in Maine. I WILL pay them a visit and report back one of these days--they are 19 miles away from me.
