Stabilized Birdseye / Euro Pen

I had a small piece of stabilized birdseye barely big enough to get a 5/8 square blank out of , thought I try it on a satin silver European pen . I like the look of this pen for a low cost kit . Looks like I'll be stabilizing some more birdseye tomorrow

Yikes , looking at these pictures I guess its time to wash the shop towel

Thanks Brian , IIRC that piece of birdseye came with a shippment of Paduak from a supplier , it was used as a spacer between boards and was a freebie , I was going to throw it in my scrap bin and it caught my eye .
