I was surprised it wasn't burning the wood on the thin piece but I did see it was burning the thicker board. He was feeding the material slow but it was still remarkable that paper would cut like it did. I guess if your in a bind you could break out an old magazine and a pair of sissors and finish your project.

But to have throw away blades. Now that is priceless. So the next time you get a paper cut remember this video. If it can cut wood then sure as heck it can cut you.

I wonder how CA'ing the edges with thin would do? Would it be the equivalent of carbide for paper? And as Bob noted, how would it do with pinking shears - CA'ed?

Somebody got some time on their hands to give it a shot?

It will if you use label paper. Just remember to peal off the slick part to expose the glue.
