My First Circuit Board

Ok, so with "First Pens" come mistakes and I made a few on this one.

1.) Turned passed the bushings (by alot)
2.) Wet sanded - I think you can see where the paper got wet under the PR
3.) You can not see it but you can feel a wave (I need to get better at long even cuts)

Other than that it came out great I think!

I don't think it looks too bad, either. Obviously you got a little over enthusiastic by the nib end, but otherwise not bad. I've done eight or 10 circuit boards and wet sanded every one of them with no problems. I can't see the spot you refer to.

If you overturn a cast piece such as a circuit board just top it off with several coats of medium CA until you reach the desired diameter. A bit time consuming but you can recover the error and no one will notice the difference.

If that is a Sierra Vista/Wall Street III kit, just put it on a regular Sierra/Wall Street II.

Andrew,

I would say that the best thing here is that you recognize these items and will bet you don't have these issues again. This is a good learning experience.
Also good that you went for it and have a finished pen!
