I'm going to be doing some restoration work on a very realistic looking miniature barn. I'm going to have to replace some very rusted out hinges, but can't seem to locate the size I need (3/4" barrel length x 7/8" wide). I've searched ebay, etsy, as well as done general internet searches.

I did find slightly larger hinges but I'd rather not have to use these as it means modifying the many doors and door frames, I'd like to keep it as original as possible.

I was hoping one of you folks have a source for small hinges that may not be advertised very well. Thank you!

Buy the hinge that is as close as you can get, then use a jewelers saw and a Dremel to "correct" the close as you can get to what you want. Hint buy extras, you will mess up at least one.

I had already searched that site without success. Thanks.

Well do you have a photo so we know what you are talking about.

There's nothing special about it other than the size (7/8" wide x 3/4" barrel length), but a photo is included below. I can find 1" x 3/4" and 3/4" x 3/4", but the one I need is in between.

Success!!!...I think. Turns out CherryTreeToy and NationalArtCraft are the same vendor. NationalArtCraft will be going away soon according to the customer service rep. They have the hinges without the escutcheon pins in packs of 20. I'm going to order them and hope for the best. Thank you!!!

Over the years I did my part in keeping Nation Art Craft in business. Can not blame that on me:biggrin::biggrin:
