Although I enjoy seeing and participating in many different events for the bash. I think there were to many similar events thus pulling people in to many directions. Enough events have been created and new ones will continue to rise to the challenge. Maybe we should start a rotation of events or have with BB events and then the other event(cant remember the name).

It looked to me that there was a great effort to make the different contests different enough to allow for lack of a better way to say it, the differences in what people do. I chaired the casting resin/polyclay and there was another blank contest (similar but different) different enough I think to allow more different styles. I think that we can learn from what we did and refine to make better. Can you be more specific with which contests you think were too similar, maybe we need to be more clear on what contests are focusing on or maybe we need to eliminate or even create something entirely different.

As you have stated you chaired one and another similar blank contest was done. I was the Pen Stand chair and we had a pen box.
nothing wrong with any of the contest, most turners have a limited amount of time to spend working on designs for events.
When I get serious about playing the games I want to put forth effort to try and win. Plus I wanna enter them all when I get started.
