My family is planning a trip to Washington D.C. later this year. I and my two sons are all avid penturners, and my father is a long-time woodworker. I'm wondering if there are any particular museums or exhibits related to woodworking (or pens!) that we should plan to visit while we are there.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I can take you to one of my friends basement turning shop with 10 - 12 lathes!
They have spilled out of the shop into the "family room" now! They range from 10" mini lathes to 2o" full size lathes!

Yesterday, we had about a dozen turners there for the afternoon 2-5 shift and again after dinner for the 6-9 shift of TNT. (Thursday Night Turning). This is every week except for our monthly club meeting. Last night's focus was on bowls.
