Nest of bowls, USA Red Oak.

I got this blank of Red Oak from SDB (Scott) a little while ago.
I cored out three extra blanks so wound up with the 4 pieces. The grain and colour in this is outstanding and I hope that I've done the blank proud.
No.1 is 10.5" x 4",
No.2 is 8.75" x 2.5",
No.3 is 6.5" x 1.75",
And little bubby is 4.5" x 1".

Hi Ross,

They are sanded to 400 and then Friction Polished on the lathe with "U-Beaut brand Shellawax Glow".
The Glow is not available in the US but all the other Shellawax varieties are.

Bob those turned out real well. Looks like you got the thickness just right too. I am sure they will make good sellers. Bowls is something I am not into as of this time but can appreciate the work that went into them. Thanks for showing and keep up the great work.
