I see on the front page the ad for the Bash event. I will not be partaking in the contests but will be watching intently. Especially the Pen Box and Pen Stand contests because they were the ones I really believe belong here to help this event continue to evolve. I am sure we will get to see some really innovative ideas in all categories and hopefully many of the new members are not intimidated and jump right in and have some fun. That is all this time of the year is about is having fun.

My question here though is does everyone get to enjoy this event for the extra day this year being it is a Leap Year or are you sticking to the past time limits??? Bet you did not think of that. Or maybe you did and I missed it being I am still trying to catch up on threads.

Hope everyone has fun and we get to see some amazing stuff. Good luck to all who enter the contests and I also am sure there will be the famous Losers Train that is making its way into town. I think the engineer fell off the train last year so there maybe a new one

Yes, the Bash runs for the entire month of February - irrespective of the Leap Year, it's still a month...

I read the comments about not entering the fun in the Bash.

My question is "Why not?"

Don't get me wrong. I know that life and past comments will change a person's outlook about the Bash.
I know there are some contests I won't enter just because I either don't make that type of pen or have no kinowledge about the contest.

But why not have fun and enter just one contests? Something simple as the slimline contest?
Something where there is "limits" you have to comform with that limits your skills?
Why not have fun with the site and the reason it is here? Join in.

Wayne, just because I or someone else won't be in the pen making contests, doesn't mean we won't be taking part in the festivities. :wink:
I will be in the Donation Drawing, I'll try the match up and if there are any auctions, I may have a go there too.
I will most definitely stir the pot with my buddies that do enter as well.:biggrin:

I won't rehash my reasons for stopping, but I've had my turn at loads of contests in the past. There are over 20 thousand other members that now need to take over.
Besides.....Chuck, Jeff P, and Butch couldn't handle the competition:tongue:

Just crossing T'S and dotting I'S. Dates on the front page says 28 not 29

Good to hear we get to enjoy the fun for an extra day this year. I am thinking this can be one of the best. Many new players so should be new ideas. This time of the year does break up the winter dulldrums.
