A Duck duck call

Here's a gift I made for my nephew who has become an avid duck hunter. I sort of made the shape to resemble a duck. I wasn't sure he'd like the shape but he did.

The band is cast. I actually do 4 separate pours to make these blanks. It's all in the timing. I have to pour after the previous pour has partially set, and before it cures. It takes about 2.5 hours to cast these.

Yeah, 10 is my goal. I did 4 the last time. I'll up that to maybe 8 the next time. Still a lot of time considering what I could pour the normal way.
