I'd like to see one with differing segmenting material coloring....

The glue joints look very good! Nicely done!!

Scott (simply fun like 7-n-7) B

Black would make it jump for sure. May I ask though is there a theme here that you are looking to create or is this just random scrolling??? I would like to see you try a specific pattern of some sort. If you are pretty good with a scrollsaw you can surely make some neat patterns.

Thanks. My goal on this one was to get a technique down and avoid the imperfections from my first try.......Funny thing is, someone thought my first one cool and bought it for 30 bucks:smile:

I just need to sit back and make a design. And yes....those cuts were totally random:biggrin:

There are a number of things you can try to achieve different effects. Here are some examples. The 1st pen came about because I had some nice scraps. Second pic walnut pen has a 3 veneer and 1 veneer inlay per side. Last pen is 3 veneer inlay throughout.
