This is my first Knurl GT pen, in gun metal. I turned it from Thailand rosewood. The finish is my first oil finish, with one coat of BLO, and three coats of Watco Danish Oil. I love the hand rubbed look of it. I'll be using Danish Oil more often. I like this kit, it makes a substantial, well balanced pen. It's a little on the heavy side, but I like that. Surprisingly, the clip is solid, not stamped.

This one of my favorites also, lots of beef to this pen. Danish oil finish looks like my Ken Smith bass.

I just finished two Knurled GT pens. They are great. I particularly like the smooth action of the transmission. Also very comfortable in the hand in spite of the weight. Very masculine looking pen. Nice job.

Nice job. Very coincidently, I'm making my first knurl and also trying a new finish. I have used CA almost exclusively but am using teak oil on my knurl pen. Takes patience for the cure time. Your finish looks good.

This was my first oil finish, and I still love it. I've been carrying and using the pen everyday. How does teak oil differ from Danish oil?

I too like the look of the oiled finish. It just looks "Rich". Nice job.
