Congradulations Evan!Those are really cool.How did you measure the tension?I always thought the rollerball springs were pretty consistant through their range of motion.

Spanx, The tension unit cane about by accident. I made a pen for a friend and drilled the body too long so when the ink cartridge was placed in the pen it barely touched the spring. When he wrote with it it had a very springy fee to it. He liked the way it wrote. I wanted to be able to adjust the tension a little. I found another softer spring and used a screw to be able to compress of spring with each turn of the screw. I originally tried to use a piston filler unit but the pressure of the spring kept unscrewing the piston. I have the next generation of this pen on the drawing board! Evan
