I need a good respirator. I have lung cancer that is treatable . Doctor says to get a good respirator & I will not give up turning all together. I need suggestions. Thanks, Joe!!

I own all but the Trend. if I were in the same situation, I would get the Trend. And as a very distant second, an organic vapor mask (which is what I use primarily). I have the yellow device, and I would only rely on it for light turning. That;s what I would do, but I am not you.

The respirator looks like it would do a good job on particles, but if you are using CA or some other volatile organic compound, a VOC respirator would give more protection.

As I said, I use it and love it.
The filters behind the head get them out of the fumes, I am allergic to CA and get very tight in the chest in just a few seconds of exposure, With my dust collector running and wearing the resp-o-rator I can finish with CA no problem, I do use a different mask if I am gluing up stock.
I am thinking about converting an old C-Pap machine to a powered resp.

I found an old army gas mask at my parents, so I use that when I work with the nasty stuff.

Of course I get funny looks from the UPS when I am working with acrylics or CA and I have it on.
