I know there are 100's of you chomping at the bit to get going with your entry into the http://www.penturners.org/forum/f299/ball-point-pen-contest-133488/ , but like the rules say, you have to wait until Aug. 1st .
I've been stalked by 4 people (one is camped on my front lawn as we speak) and offered some spectacular bribes by 3 others ( a goat, $1.83 and an ex-wife, take over payments) but I have to stick to the rules like everyone else or Mike Redburn will take away my IAP magic decoder ring.
You only have 1 week left to wait, which I know feels like a lifetime, but the http://www.penturners.org/forum/f299/ball-point-pen-contest-133488/ will be open for business before you know it.

What kind of goat? Do you have pictures?

The rules specifically forbid showing pictures until the end of the contest. That includes any goat pictures! :biggrin:
 
See, I told you! Mike is always watching and never misses a trick!

And, yes. That sounds very weird. The goat is all yours.....

Rules for the "Great Goat" video contest.
Besides the universal contest rules
You may not have shown your Goat Video on Facebook, You Tube or Twitter prior to the contest.
You may use more than one Goat
Sheep are not allowed
Acts natural or unnatural are not allowed.

mInimum of 3 minutes of video allowed
Maximum of 5 minutes.
Prizes will be awarded for Best looking Goat, Best marketing of a Goat and cutest baby goat.
At least one prize will be a trip to SD to spend a wild weekend with Derek, no expenses will be paid or reimbursed.

Winners will be subject to harassment and embarrassing comments from other members.
BOb will be the sole judge on all submissions.

Hey! What did I do ??? The thought of having to watch a video of anyone (especially people from here) on some goat video will send me back to therapy for years~ I'm a city boy and have heard way too many of those urban legends about goats or sheep or whatever other farm animals are out there. I think we need to open this job title up for nominations.
 
Good News - Bad News

Bad News -
Brian, you and your goat video entry have been disqualified. Mike was very clear about it not being posted until the contest starts which is Aug 1st.

Good News -
Your skill as a cinematographer is exceptional. Due to that obvious talent, you have been nominated for, voted on and approved to take over the judging of all future Goat Video entries. I am pretty sure that Derek will be happy to help you do the judging. Also, this will be the one exception to the rule of "No pics, never happened" for obvious reasons ~

ALL GOAT VIDEO ENTRIES NOW GO TO BRIAN!!!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. That video looks just like my "kids"..get it, huh :smile:
