Wait.. that won't help with why I'm sad....

My Onkyo receiver came back from the repair shop... While I was setting it back up (it goes up near my big screen projector high on a shelf), I was a putz and knocked an item off one of the shelfs I use to display special stuff...

The item that fell (and broke into pieces) used to look like this:

I will not post a picture of it the way it looks tonight :doctor: :crying: :crying:

If they can rebuild Steve Austin, you can rebuild your IAP mug

I'm gonna try!

A mug barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic mug. Dean's will be that mug. Better than it was before. Better, stronger, fuller.
Perhaps it is my advanced age has struck again and technology has passed me by, but can someone tell me if something is full how could it be fuller? Additionally if something is not full how can it be fuller?

Dean, good luck with your project I surely hope you get it finished quicker than you did the pen you were going to send me after becoming the "puzzle master" a couple of years ago:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

It's been a rough couple of years around my house... The shop gets very little time after my better half lost her vision. I don't think I have made more than a couple of pens in that time and I have not forgotten you.

As for this mug... It could be fuller given that it's never been used! It was on display only... Thus it will probably be fixed even it it's never the same. I guess given that, it will never be fuller since it will never be full!!!

Not only that, it will be more perfect.

I was going for the trope at the beginning of The Bionic Man introduction.

Cripes, does everything have to be a debate?

Maybe I should have typed "fatter" instead of "fuller"
Hmmmmm, I thought that since you were having a little fun with this "tragedy" that you probably wouldn't mind if others did to. I assumed everyone would know that my statement was also tongue in cheek. Seem to have guessed wrong.

Next time, break one of the laser engraved pieces...they're much easier to replace/re-create at one-off pricing.
