I was finally able to get out to mow today, after about a week of rain every day.

Anyway, I was trimming along the fence when a bunny jumped out. I didn't pay much thought to it, except to be sure not to hit it.
I continued down the fence, and out popped another one.
So, I caught them and placed them in a box so they wouldn't get injured while I mowed. All in all, I found six of the little things. Put them all in the box to keep them safe.
After mowing, I found their nest, and let them slide out of the box in front of it. Three ran inside, one took off to our bushes, and the last two kept jumping back in the box. I finally took those two over to the bush where number four ran to, and was able to get them out.
They are the cutest little things and I hope to see them again in the future.

24 lucky feet.

Don't worry. If you have hostas, potato vines, or other edible plants, you'll never be rid of them or their offspring.

Deer spray works on rabbits too.

We had one in our garage this morning had to chase the little rascal out. We have rabbits all over our neighborhood. They are so thick we have to walk our dogs away from the neighborhood because they go crazy and almost jerk the leashes out of our hands trying to get to them, we'll see seven or eight walking around the block almost any time of the day and there are three adults that "live" in our front yard.

True, they can have three or more litters in a breeding season and the young can begin breeding at only 3 or 4 months.

Hmmm...You guys are complaining about 'bunny rabbits'??? Think yourself lucky... I have SQUIRRELS!!! Squirrels and more squirrels everywhere! Tried everything to get rid of them and keep them from our bird feeders...little @#$%%^ will get into anything and everything! Wife won't let me use my 'electric cattle fence shocker'... ;>)

Been there - Done that.
Squirrels can figure out some way to get to almost anything they want to eat....and they want to eat almost anything you don't want them to eat.

You need to invite a fox into your neighborhood :) We had fox make a den in our yard with 4 or 5 pups. It takes a lot of squirrels and chipmunks to feed a growing family! It took a couple of years for the squirrel population to recover.

Squirrels are clever, they soon learn that an air rifle is not friendly to them and with enough lessons they will skirt your property.

I have squirrels and rabbits... plus two dogs... every so often I'll find a dead one (squirrel or rabbit) on the front porch or laying in the yard... one of the dogs is a house dog that likes to look out the window in my wife's study... there's an ornamental cherry tree right there that has a couple of bird feeders.. the squirrels drive him crazy... maybe just crazier.

Well I have rabbits, squirrels and DEER. Out of 3 30' rows of beans and a 30" row of okra, I now have 6 bean plants and 3 okra plants. I will be happy to help anyone who wants them to round of some Deer and take them home. May have to take up hunting again.

The wife likes to feed the birds so we have lots of fat squirrels. I have a sling shot and a big jar of gum balls. I occasionally feed the squirrels a few gum balls. Fun!

I "used" to have a problem with chipmunks and rabbits. My son adopted a stray cat who showed up one day. Within one summer our chipmunk problem was gone and last week I saw her take down a rabbit. There are still chipmunks and rabbits in the neighborhood, just not within 2-3 houses of mine.

Only problem is the little "gifts" my wife keeps finding in the driveway.
