Someone must remember the old song,"Why does everything always happen to me". Well it happened to me right in the middle of a project. I was in a hurry to change belts, got careless forcing a belt and whammo, she broke. Fortunately there is a great outfit in Denver, Western Belting Co., that is ordering three for me. Taking no chances. Less than $6 and waiving the minimum order fee. Good people. Used to use them when I was in business years ago. Five days from now I should be turning again. I had thought previously that I should order spares but, nah, that can't happen to me.

I did order a spare belt for my lathe so I would have it when I need it. Good thing too as I still have it and still in the envelope and in a drawer for the lathe. So far I have been pretty lucky on the belt.. Fay
 
sorry you had issues with a belt... I have purchased 4 belts for different equipment and ALWAYS ALWAYS received A+++ service from

They are a very customer service orientated company. I emailed them and they responded immediately and when I called to speak to them, they went out of their way to find the belts I needed. They had a very good belt reference and in fact some of them they knew the sizes without looking up. Had no minimums, and always put the belt in the mail the day I spoke to them. They would have expedited if I had asked, but never took more than 3 days to get the belts. Just a good company that I will continue to use and recommend.

++1 for the Belt store... never had anything but good service from them.

They even carry the belts for my lawn tractor.
