Real Mokume-gane pen blanks

Mokume-gane is a Japanese metalworking procedure, which comes in the form of a mixed-metal laminate with distinctive layered patterns. Mokume gane translates closely to "wood grain metal" or "wood eye metal", describing the way the metal takes on the appearance of natural wood grain.

$50 each. 30 blanks available. Not for the faint of hear! Turning these is VERY difficult. Start with a good metal file!

These are 9/16" x 4-1/2". Large enough for Jr.s but not for the full-sized (Senior) pens.

I used to...pre-stroke...but know that they are black and polished steel looking.
