I am just getting familiar with custom fountain pen construction. Can you tell me the thread size where the nib holder screws into the section, please. Thanks.

The threads are cut with special taps, and are different for the two pens. The JOWO uses a 7.4mm x .5mm tap. You can get it here:

I don't use the Bock, so I'm not sure of the size. But I do know they are slightly larger than the JOWO. You can buy the tap here:

The Bock #6 tap I used is M7.9 x 0.6
